The man judge emoji is one of two justice emojis. It shows a man donned in a black cloak and with his profession easily identified by his wielding of a ceremonial wooden mallet, the gavel. Depending on the platform used, the judge has yellow, grey or dark hair, with both iOS and twitter opting for an additional moustache. Skin and hair tone modification is also available on some platforms. The emoji is used to generally refer to the judicial system and the legal profession, as well as more specifically. It can also be used in a humorous fashion to demonstrate that the sender has “passed a decision” or is going to get justice!
